My name is Alec and figured I would give this a shot. I just moved to Utica from Erie, Pa for work and don't know anyone here. I grew up in Buffalo and graduated from Canisius High School and later from Hobart and William Smith College in Geneva, NY, where I received my B.A. in economics. After college, I worked for my father as a Property Manager for about five years. After this, I worked as a financial advisor for a few years, but did not enjoy it very much. Currently, I work for Bridgestone as a store manager. I am very happy with my career and have seen a good deal of success in the last couple years. I work a lot of hours and my schedule is not ideal, but I enjoy being busy.
I spent my summers growing up at my father's beach house in Canada where I did a lot of sailing and boating. It is one of my favorite places in the world, and I still spend a good amount of time there. During the wintertime, I spend many weekends in Ellicottville skiing and enjoying the snow. I am very energetic and love to go out and do exciting things. I am always up for an adventure or going to see something new. I love going out to eat and enjoy cooking (not cooking for 1 though). Socially, I love to spend time with my friends and going to parties and events. Traveling is something I also want to do more of. I have been all over the U.S. and to Europe a couple times, but I always want to see new places.
The last couple years I have been extremely busy with work, but I am now ready to meet someone with whom I can enjoy spending time. I am looking for someone who is intelligent, energetic, has a promising career, open to try new things, has a great sense of humor, and feels comfortable expressing her feelings. I feel honesty is something that is very important between two people. I know I have a great deal to offer a woman, and I just hope I can find the right one for me.
