To thine own self be true.
With that said I believe actions speak louder than words because I could write a grandiose description and could be completely lying in the process. So some things I'm not, I'm not athletic, I work out because my job makes me do it, so I only do the bare minimum. As a result I'm somewhat fit, but I doubt I'll be gracing the cover of a romance novel anytime soon. Also, I'm not perfect, I'm flawed just like every one else that you'll meet. A game player, I don't like games being played on me, so in turn I don't play games on others. If I feel there's something there I'll be straight up with you, and vice versa. Let's not waste each other's time. A sports fanatic, I don't like watching sports, I don't see the point. I'll play a game of softball, or volleyball, but usually there's drinking involved and it's usually not competitive. Some things that I am; I'm a huge nerd, like the stereotypical ones, only without the wedgies, bad hygiene, swirlies, and being grossly overweight. Honest, to the point of being brutally honest. I believe all lies are eventually discovered, so I don't believe it's worth the effort to lie. Also a quick way for me to lose all respect for you is if you lie to me. I am vulgar, I curse, I cross the line when it comes to humor, and I have very little shame. I think this comes from working as an aircraft mechanic, our sense of humor is quite juvenile. I enjoy going to plays, reading books, drawing on occasion, working with my hands, going to Renaissance Faires, playing Dungeons and Dragons, hanging out with friends, and just having a good time. I'm not big on drama, and try to avoid it as much as possible. The closest I like to get to drama is if it's happening on a screen, like at the movies, or on the television.
So, what am I looking for? Someone with intelligence as well as looks. I believe that attraction is more than physical. Sure it will get you through the first few dates, but after that there's got to be something more. Someone with the same interests would be fantastic, though if that happens I'm going to go buy a few lottery tickets to see if my luck holds up. Someone that's not easily offended is also a plus, or embarrassed for that matter. I'm a dork, and I've often embarrassed my friends more times than they would like. Well that's all I have for now.
