I was raised in Austria between cultures by an American mother and Austrian father (which luckily makes me a dual citizen), after which my studies took me from London to Paris to New York, my work from Rajasthan to Riyadh to Rio de Janeiro, and finally Los Angeles. Recently graduated from Columbia University and with two years of NYC and DC under my belt, the world of work awaits me; and so does L.A. as a new city to explore...
A good balance is key. Whether that means a pick-up game of basketball (or pretty much any other sport) or a nice workout after a day of uninterrupted brain exercise makes little difference; alternatively, a venue with a healthy portion of HipHop/RnB, House, Jazz and the rest can do the trick as well. However, if you're more of the I-prefer-debating-politics type of personality, favor taking a walk outside regardless of the weather or temperature, visiting a museum, simply reading next to each other with the benefit of a massage, watching a movie, or just hanging out then I’m just as down for that – if not more. Ideally though, I'd ride roller coasters in theme parks or drop down slides at water parks all day - a long ago boyish passion that hasn't lost its appeal ;)
A girl who shares my interests is no must, but I would hope that she is open to exploring and trying them out. The same goes for me, who loves to learn and become introduced to new things. I like the idea of small gestures of affection such as a freshly picked flower from the neighbor's garden or a little sweetness-filled note left behind because smaller things make the bigger difference; especially if they're hand-made (or hand-picked in the case of the neighbor's flowers) and filled with thought instead of simply paid for (not that the latter can't be thought-filled as well, naturally). I love of animals and the zoo, returning smiles, making things with my hands, motorcycling, traveling and exoticism and being a generalist. I also have a thing for Brazilian food and its beaches, and find scuba diving fascinating.
Ciao :)
