I moved to NYC two years ago for grad school, and I think it's pretty fantastic. I mean, it would be awesome if it magically re-located to just outside Napa County so I could be a food glutton in my spare time, but I understand these things don't happen overnight.
I'm a big believer that work hard / play hard offers the best balance, and that life is much, much too short to not do what you love.
I love traveling, and I try to go abroad at least once a year. I'm going for the elusive filled passport & every continent deal ASAP. For the next big trip I'm aiming for Southeast Asia or Argentina. If you've been, I definitely want tips and recs.
Other than that - I'm kind of a closet nerd, I try to volunteer every week, and I'm a recovering college football addict. Cheers!
