There's no easy way to intro a blurb advertising yourself to the world. Fortunately, I'm a PR guy by day, so this is my jam. Me, abridged:
- The words-that-describe-me game: energetic, enthusiastic, compassionate, outgoing, loyal, versatile, jokeful, resilient, affectionate, optimist.
- What's my deal: I've had a crazy, awesome existence and embrace new experiences. Born and raised in NY, went to school in Nashville (and now like country music as a result), living out in SF. At one point, I was going to run a nuclear submarine. I lived in Berlin for work for 6 months. I've been on the field for two Super Bowls. I've driven across the country. I can put everything in perspective, and even in the face of something daunting, find a way to make it through and maybe even have fun along the way. I've been told I have a large personality. This might be true. I love to cook.
- Things I love besides the Match.com obligatory travel-friends-going out trifecta: burritos, bacon, Dunkin Donuts (it doesn't exist in CA and that is a tragedy), stupid fun games, cooking, learning random skills, nerding out hardcore, 49ers, terrible movies, breaking things then putting them back together, making horrendous jokes, being sarcastic, P90x, staring at the ocean or the stars, occasionally being ridiculous, multiplying large numbers in my head.
- The WTF stuff: I can't ride a bicycle. I went to school to be an orthopedic surgeon. (whoops?) I'm allergic to peanuts and soy, though I routinely will tempt fate for good dim sum. I once bleached my hair in high school and it was easily one of the five worst decisions of my life.
- What I'm like: I believe in the guy paying on the first date, and pushing in chairs and holding doors, and listening to people more than talking, and respecting other people's independence, and walking people to their door and not leaving until you know they're safely inside. I'm all about a fun pizza/couch night, but I secretly love getting all decked out and doing a super-swank dinner/date, too. I iron my shirts. I am a dancing machine. We will laugh. a lot. I believe life is a balance: be worldly yet humbled, grounded but energetic, jokeful while driven, compassionate and focused.
Enough about me...what about you? You are:

- can hang with, or even enjoy, conversations that range from: space, 49ers, all sports, computers, psychology, philosophy, biology, how terrible I am at chess, locations around the world, random movie trivia...and more!
- likes to hang out with friends, meet new people, try new bars and/or restaurants just as much as playing Catchphrase, Wii Sports or Apples to Apples
