I'm often described as independent, goal-oriented, funny, caring, outgoing, and well-spoken. There is nothing that makes me happier than spending time with friends, enjoying a quiet day on the beach, and live music. I'm at a weird place in my life since I'm going through all the obstacles of escaping that "life after college" phase, but I like to think that I'm doing it with a positive outlook.
Something that is very important to me is my job; I love what I do and can't imagine my life any other way. Being a teacher gives me the opportunity to provide students with knowledge about my passion, while serving as their confidant, role-model, and mentor. It takes up countless hours, but the time spent is priceless.
I'm looking for someone who understands and appreciates someone who likes to take advantage of all that life has to offer, even though it can get overwhelming and con-caving at times. Someone who is family oriented, easy going, and has a sense of humor is a must. I am excited and traumatized (and at the same time, brutally honest), about the new path I am on. At the same time, I am eager to share it with someone else. I'm looking for a guy who is seriously interested in getting to know someone for who they are - not to pass the time. I finally have arrived at the point in my life where I want to make a serious effort to pick up the pieces of my post graduate school life and assemble it into something a little more structured, exciting, and invigorating.
Contrary to some, I am putting myself out there to find someone in a long term sense. Although it is important to become acquainted and connected with someone, I eventually want something impeccable. For me, it's about who I'll come home to, now who I will find while out and about.
