The theory of luck, to me, is perhaps the most profound aspect of human nature. With luck, we see people rise from ruin and dominate societal discourse; while at the same time a seemingly lack of luck leads to the most horrific stories of ill-fated journeys and decisions. See the problem with luck, in general, is that no matter which way you tread on the matter you end up back to questioning its existence. If you believe in it then every bad experience can be traced to bad luck. Yet, by clearly tracing your steps you can see a well established path of increasing bad decisions and ill-timed manuevers that ultimately lead you to your current position. Therefore, you'd then say that luck does not exist. However, if we were to take this one step further; how could one explain chance encounters? When, through a seemingly innocoulous introduction or posting online, one "bumps" into another. Is it luck that at a specific time and place two individuals act upon the same stimulus; in this case a posting? Or are we both simply looking for the same thing to which brings us to my introduction. Hi, I'm David.
With a resume twice my years and some, I'm looking for a lady that wants it all and some, with a Handsome Gentleman ready to take everything to the next level and some.
An inherent desire to win mixed with the drive to succeed allow me to delve in the wealth of success and excess. Educated with a degree in Political Science and Communication intertwined with the rule of Law; I argue and win. A private pilot during the weekend, we can catch the waves in Miami and be back in the City for Brunch on Sunday. I perform in NYC and rant my feelings on live Radio; not for a living but simply to feel alive. The key to my life today and the dreams for tomorrow are thanks to a little store in which a humble beginning and earnest premise evolved into something bigger, greater, stronger than anyone gave credit. A retail giant by trade, a poet through soul, and a former athlete with resolve. I was able to play football on Saturdays (the U), but bad knees kept me watching the games that followed.
I don't look forward to dead-end relationships. While I never think about marrying someone on the first date, I also don't feel it is fair to commit several years in a serious relationship to just end up as friends. I have everything in the world except for the right lady to share it all with. I'm definitely looking for someone to share my crazy adventures and talk about life. Someone with dreams as big as mine and an open spirit. I say let's start with a spark and hope it catches fire.
In any case, here is my message in a bottle...
Somewhere, somehow I see a single ray of sun shining through as though my life were but a silent film of black and white. Years have come and gone, attempts made and abandoned, hopes attained and vanquished, dreams awakened and colors dulled; hence I search and search for that love, that rose, that soul whose glory I have forever known. Time is my enemy and only seeks to rob me of moments I could share, but time does not faze me for I know when I find you that time will standstill. Through wind and strong currents, I shalt not falter for this is merely a message in a bottle; If you seek as I seek and you feel as I feel I invite you to contact me for through sheer luck, mere coincidence, or fate, have you will, this message will get to you, my dear...
***Now don't get me twisted, I might be livin' the life right now but I been through hell and back. From the 'hood, I don't take no shit or back down (W). Been locked up and served, hounded by agencies and never given a break. Made myself on my own and my experiences would crest over any 50 yr old. Lost friends, been abandoned by family, had my fiance flake out, and been flat broke. I still know fencers and can easily call up a crew. Just a bad guy gone good. All I ask is for loyalty. You hold me down? Trust me, Cinderella won't have nuttin' on you.
