I moved back to California after 8 years away for the Army, School in Colorado, and all the wrong reasons in Tennessee. I live in Sacramento where I have a great job and am so happy to be back around my family. This move back home has me focusing on what is most important. I am getting myself straight, first, but not to a selfish point. I am able to start exercising more since a moderate injury that made me leave the Army life that I was in love with. I am discovering the California that I left almost a decade ago convinced that I hated, but am starting to appreciate. I also am starting to figure out what I want to be when I grow up and am looking into Grad school. I am making time for family; that is the only other real important thing in life. I am starting to miss that other part of my life; the half that can make some of the adventures I get into more fun.
I tend to be a awkwardly quiet, at first. I am very honest and up front. I am the kind of person who wants to get married, have kids and live a happy, quintessential, American family life, someday (picket fence and all)... but not overly eager. At this point in my life, I am taking everything as it comes.
Obviously I can't tell you all about me in a profile, I can tell you some things though:
-I love God
-I try to be the best auntie I can be
-I love my dogs
-I don't need to plan, but I always prepare
-I love randomness (and create it frequently)
-I love adventure but let myself get discouraged by lack of ideas and lack of company
-Ice cream is amazing!
-I love everything outdoors (camping!)
-I have a few decent tattoos... Most hidden
-I have a passion for everything that I become a part of
-I love food
-I have a Southern mindset about a lot of things
-I live for road trips long and short. Sometimes I just drive around. I like to get lost in order to know where I'm going (I meant that litterally, but it works figuratively too)
-I make a point to try to see others' POVs
-I have a sarcastic, quick whitted, sometimes dirty sense of humor
-I am kinda a nerd
-I prefer mom pop hole in the wall places to a big expensive restaurant
-I space out and can spend hours in antique shops, book stores, museums
-I enjoy most sporting events
-I believe "Actions speak louder than words", and I practice what I preach
I typically like my fella big, respectful, sweet, country, and adventurous. Surprise me! I don't know the area, so show me something new!
Someone recently asked me what I value most in a partner, so I thought about it...
1. Integrity
2. Chivalry
3. Protective
4. Loving
5. Hard-Working
6. Spontaneous
7. Can tie a necktie
