Hello! My name is Dave. I live in Alameda. I have done a few different things in my life to date, from being a college student, to building hiking trails in various California wilderness areas, and now I teach job skills to young adults at a charter school in San Francisco. I like to travel, help people, train martial arts (Brazilian jiu jitsu), hike, backpack, surf, snowboard, drink beer(or whatever), hang out with friends, and I'm also learning guitar, I suck, but it's fun. I work at things that help folks and in turn I make money to do things that I like. My ultimate goal is to be an improved version of me with each passing year.
I'm looking for a nice, loyal, intelligent girl, who is a team player. Fun loving, easy going, comfortable with her imperfections, and willing to grant me mine.
I don't really watch tv, but I love movies. I try to moderate everything... for instance I eat meat but it's not a given in my meals. I am a good cook, particularly Mexican or Italian.
I'm fairly shy upon meeting someone, but it doesn't take long for me to open up. I know a few good jokes, and I'm pretty good at pointing out funny things in life. I'm pretty liberal, but I'm not PC. I think it's best to be able to look at our differences and laugh. I am basically a decent human being with values but be forewarned, I will probably never be wealthy and that's fine by me.
