Hi, I'm Michael.
Like most of us here I am looking for someone that will make all of the crazy places, people and events I stumble upon that much better.
I grew up in the mountains of southern California, graduated college in the mid Atlantic, but relocated to Florida just over 10 years ago when I finally stopped pretending that I enjoyed shoveling snow. Despite my family being spread across the country, we remain close. I have an older brother in California, a younger sister in Rhode Island and my parents are in West Virginia (Yes, it’s random). My second family is here in Florida; a network of crazy and amazing friends that I have picked up along the way. I have become the unofficial uncle to their kids, the secondary master to their dogs and the friend that their wives don’t cringe when we get to go out.
Travel and photography are my passions (and cooking, which I will get to below). I am always looking for places to explore and living in Central Florida and having family across the country has been a great outlet for this. I take mostly nature photography but have been known to dabble in some wedding and event photography when the opportunities present themselves. I like to stay busy and am very social by nature.
Growing up with an Italian mother (not Jersey Shore Italian, just Italian) I had no other option but to enjoy eating and to learn to cook. I can cook just about anything, but like to keep it interesting. I cook from scratch and without recipes. My biggest issue is that I have not mastered the art of cooking for one and end up eating the same thing for 5 days.
So what am I looking for?
HONESTY -If we cannot trust each other what is the point? (Where is that Deal Breaker Button?)
FUNNY/HAPPY- Must have a good sense of humor and/or playful attitude
WHITTY- My second language is playful sarcasm, looking for someone who can keep me on my toes
EASY GOING-Relax and don't take yourself so seriously
RESPONSIBLE-Looking for a women not a girl. You know who you are
a TALKER- I’ve been told I’m a good listener
INDEPENDENT – someone who wants to be with me, but doesn’t need to be
