I am a local girl who owns a craft beer company & can get you all the free beer you want.......ok, not really~just wanted to get your attention :) I'm actually a 2nd grade special education teacher and love my job. Every day is an adventure with the students.
I also enjoy volunteering and working with animals. I like traveling, hanging out with friends in Philly, sports, movies, and reading. My friends would describe me as funny, sarcastic, and someone who LOVES to laugh! One of my favorite shows is Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia--which makes me constantly laugh. I enjoy going out to dinner and trying new restaurants with friends. We also like checking out local sports bars and pubs.
In the past few years I have really enjoyed giving back--I became a Big Sister in the Big Brother/Big Sister Club and volunteer with the elderly in the summer. My nickname at work is "Mother Earth" because I am very passionate about the environment and helping save the planet. But don't worry- not a tree hugger!
I feel that "tomorrow is never promised", so you must make the most of today. Be kind and loving towards all but also avoid toxic negative people. I try to surround myself with positive/genuine people who want to make the world a better place (that was the "platform" I used when trying out for "Ms. New Jersey"--Just Kidding!---know it DOES sound cheesy, but I truly believe that :)
