I grew up in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment. At home, Spanish was spoken and on weekends and holidays Italian was the language.
This upbringing has influenced many of my interests...languages, different cultures, and travel. I have lived in many culturally exciting places such as Ecuador, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, and East Timor. During my time overseas, I have had numerous cultural and linguistic adventures which I am grateful for and look forward to continue experiencing. Those off-the-beaten-track adventures were great too!
Sport has also been a big part of my life. I participated in athletics and competed in many 5K and 10K races, but now I run for fun. Furthermore, my sports passion is tennis which I play a few times a week. I have been playing for many years and love to compete.
Moreover, I enjoy the arts. Whether it is visiting Van Gogh masterpieces, listening to jazz or watching the classics, it's a great time.
I see the positive in people and situations and try to enjoy life to the fullest. I am looking for someone who views life in the same way. In addition, is adventurous, has a hearty sense of humor, and values family.
