I’m originally from the Midwest so I’ve been told that I have the typical Midwestern values. If that means treating people with respect, opening doors, and putting others in front of me then yes, I guess I do have those values. People tell me I’m a funny guy. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing as I’m not all the time trying to be the comic of the group. I guess it’s better to have a good sense of humor than lacking one. I love my job. I work in the Financial industry so if you have any questions on what is going on with the economy of our country, I’m the guy to ask. I gave up using finger quotes for my New Year’s resolution. And its not because I ever use them but because I find them to be redundant. I am an avid reader and see reading as a pathway to places and people you would never have gotten to see or meet. I love sports as most guys do but if my team loses, it takes me all of 2 minutes to get over it. I played football in college so I do still enjoy being active in all sorts of activities. I have ran 5 half marathons and do have a full one under my belt as well. My mountain bike, road bike, and beach cruisers all get used often. I can be the life of the party or be fine hanging out in the background, it all depends on what the situation calls for. I prefer bars to clubs, locally owned restaurants compared to national chains.
That being said, I'm looking to add someone in my life I that shares a lot of the same things I like. I hope you have a good sense of humor and can keep up with the humor and sarcasm I will dish out. I am looking for a woman that has a lot of energy and enjoys being active yet also relishes the occasional Sunday for sleeping in and staying around the house. I like a woman that can think for herself and has a sense of independence. If you are looking for an arrogant and self centered guy who is more into himself than he is into you, keep looking. If you are looking for someone who is confident and comfortable in any type of surrounding then I am that guy. I want to get to know the real you and I want you to know the real me.
Scheez, that was tough. I hope it all made sense. If you have more to ask of me, which I hope you do, let me know!
