I think colleges should start offering courses on “Effective Dating Website Profile Writing.” This would be far more useful than creative writing for most...Anyway, other than the basic information below, I would add that I have good (but dry) sense of humor, love great restaurants, weekend trips, and Northern California sports teams (Giants, 49ers, sorry Dodger fans, I grew up in Sonoma County). I enjoy happy hour, wine tasting, or a drink or three after dinner, but have retired from going to the bars or the “club” every weekend (Vegas notwithstanding). I I try to go on at least a weekend trip a month, even if it's only to SF or San Diego (lately, with my few remaining unmarried friends). This summer I went to Cabo, Chicago, Napa, and SF. Over the winter I am hoping to make it down to South America and New York. I have my stuff together and think I have a lot to offer a significant other (us men take a little longer than women). I am not looking to serial date. Ideally, I would like to meet one person to start a relationship and see where it goes.
What I am looking for? That’s hard to sum up in the few sentences, but essentially I am looking for someone who is secure in themselves and happy, has a good sense of humor, is smart, yet doesn’t take themselves too seriously. If you watch Real Housewives of Orange County because it’s ridiculous, shoot me an email. If you watch Real Housewives of Orange County because you aspire to be like the cast members, then I’m probably not for you. I also appreciate someone who has goals and works hard, no matter what the goals are or the job. Appreciation of family and dogs are also a bonus!
