I’m originally from Michigan. I moved to Columbus almost a year ago for a career opportunity. I love my job and plan on working in the same field for the next 20 some years. Being low on the seniority list, I work second shift and I don’t have the best days off. I probably won’t have SatSun off for years. So I’m looking for someone that understands and can accept that. I have been so busy with work since I’ve moved here that I haven’t had much time to actually explore what Columbus has to offer. I'm settled in now and would like to meet someone to share the next steps in my life with.
My friends would describe me as loyal, trustworthy, responsible, laid back, funny, and honest. I must admit at times I can be too honest! I would describe myself as having an A Type personality, hence my profession. I'm a neat freak almost to the point it may be borderline OCD lol. If you're messy it's probably not going to work.
I’m a very active person. I’m in the gym 5-6 days a week. I’d like to start mixing up my workouts and get outdoors more with such activities as hiking, biking, and rock-climbing. It would be nice to meet someone that lives a healthy lifestyle and enjoys being active as much as I do.
Being that I’m old and rarely drink I’m not into the bar scene anymore and would prefer someone who feels the same. I don't mind if people drink as long as they can handle their alcohol. I deal with drama and chaos all day at work, I'd rather not come home to it so being drama free is a must. I say what I mean and I do what I say. I’m not looking to date; I’m looking for someone who is on the same path and with whom I can share the rest of my life with.
I’d like to meet someone that is caring, patient, effective communicator, rational, nurturing, motivated to constantly improve in all aspects of life, and responsible. Family is important to me and I'd like to emulate that same value with my own family one day. I’d like someone that has an active lifestyle so that we can share a variety of activities together. I’m not perfect and I’m not looking for someone who is perfect. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. Hopefully I will meet someone and we will complement each other well.
