My name may be generic but I'm not. I grew up on the banks of the Rio Grande River in New Mexico building tumbleweed forts and throwing dirt clods.
I am touched everyday by what I've been able to see, do, and have. I've been a backcountry ranger in Denali National Park, traveled around Southern Africa for two months, biked through the Mekong Delta in Vietnam, and eaten Sushi in Tokyo. I spent the last 15 years working with environmental nonprofit organizations. (I'm fanatical about recycling.)
I love road trips, sleeping outside, and skiing (telemark and alpine). I also love sunshine, blue skies, sappy love songs, and oral hygiene. Crunchy stuff aside, I also enjoy soft sheets, fine dining, dirty martinis (preferably with blue cheese stuffed olives), and foreign films.
Now, I'm ready for a different kind of adventure. I'm looking for a playmate, friend, partner, and lover. I want to be awed and inspired, pushed and challenged, supported and comforted, and loved and adored.
Other random things about me...I drive a stick shift and am an excellent parallel parker. I gutted and rebuilt a 1920's bungalow in NW Denver. I love making lists. I serve on two nonprofit boards. I'm anti-drama and feel very lucky that I inherited a generally positive and happy attitude about life. Oh....and I've got the best friends and family a girl could ask for.
