I think passion is one of the most important things in life. I am as passionate as possible about all the things I love in life, like my friends, family, music, movies, books, and writing. I think passion brings about happiness and healthy relationships, as well as an appreciation of life in general.
Qualities I love in girls: sense of humor, optimism, confidence, grace, a smile that makes me smile, passion.
Main hobbies are music, writing, and sports. I play guitar, I'm just learning drums. I wish I could play piano.
Music-wise, at the moment, I just got into Bombay Bicycle Club. Their first album is awesome and "shuffle" is instantly likeable. I cannot stop listening to Joey Bada$$' first mixtape. This is a 17 year old with unparalleled talent for someone his age. Reminds me of the rawness of Illmatic. Umm, Andrew Bird's new album is awesome (Lusitania is just beautiful), Tennis' new album is awesome (If you don't like "My Better Self" then I dont like you haha), Best Coast's new album is pretty good (The Only Place is awesome), I love Young the Giant's first album, Schoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar are prob the best young rappers around right now, but honestly I think Joey Bada$$ may be better than everyone. Oh, and I'm also listening to John Mayer's new album. Yeah yeah, he's a douche, but Slow Dancing in a Burning Room is probably one of my fave songs of all time. He gets a bad rep for his garbage hits on the radio and then a deserved bad rep for the ridiculously stupid things he says in interviews. BUT listen to his live album Where the Light Is, and if you're not sold after that, welp, that's a shame. And I do not like country, I have tried.
Books: Let the Great World Spin, Trinity, All the Devils Are Here, The Company, Liar's Poker, The Things They Carried
Movies: Good Will Hunting, Snatch (or Lock Stock - still can't decide), LA Confidential, Shawshank Redemption, The Royal Tenenbaums, Wet Hot American Summer, 12 Monkeys. Fave movie recently maybe Inception? I love Christopher Nolan, Memento is one of my faves. Aladdin is prob my fave Disney movie (we all have one, admit it), Pixar is great, I loved Up, oh and HOSTEL. Just joking, I hate horror movies and you honestly couldn't pay me to watch any of that demented stuff, sorry.
Like I said, I love writing. I wrote a screenplay before I was 18. It was pretty terrible, but I still think it was a good story! Currently working on a second one which was prompted by an absolutely terrible dream, and I just had to write that first scene. I also love writing poetry/songs. So if you're looking for a beefcake in ed hardy gear, sorry
