About me: Get to know me, and you'll discover I am still a kid at heart. I still enjoy being goofy, laughing and try not to take life to serious. I'm excited to meet some good people on here. Friendship is not at all out of the question. It's actually welcomed! I love the great outdoors and most anything having to do with it. I try to stay as active as possible and think it’s important to stay fit and be healthy. One of my passions is running and I find it to be relaxing and rewarding. I prefer running the local trails over the streets because of the peacefulness it brings me while out on the trails. I also try to find time for those occasional hiking excursions (nothing like a little time alone to recharge your batteries). I consider myself a big time golfer and look forward to those (don’t get out as often as I would like) weekend golf outings with friends. It would be wonderful to find someone (could this be you) who also has a passion for golf or is looking to learn the game.
I think it's cute when you snort as you laugh. You make fun of me when I can't leave the house without forgetting my cell phone. You act younger than you look because I like mature women who haven't forgotten what it's like to be a girl. You’re also attractive, intelligent, and athletic but most of all have a good heart. Your wonderful sense of humor is contagious and you radiate confidence where ever you go.
You can make me laugh until it hurts. You're down-to-earth and comfortable truly being yourself. You're passionate and compassionate. You dream big and make things happen. You're thoughtful, just because. You're ambitious and motivated, but not married to your work. You can communicate honestly, both at our most intimate times and our most difficult times. You're looking for a best friend to hang out with. You can't get enough of me. We're best friends, boundless lovers and partners-in-crime. We're perfectly capable of finding happiness on our own, but are stronger as a unit. We know actions speak louder than words and that it's the little things that speak the loudest. We make out a lot. Most importantly, the good outweighs the bad.
My idea of a perfect first date wouldn't involve a chain restaurant, a roller coaster or a movie. It may involve eating, excitement, entertainment or even a relaxing evening just sitting back chatting away as we get to know each other while sipping our favorite red wine. It definitely involves me, you and a long, drawn-out moment where we don't want to say good night.
What I've learned from past relationships: It's better to understand than to be understood. Laughter can save a relationship; lack of can kill it. Having kids makes you a better person, but it will also complicate your life in ways impossible to understand from the outside. The Fighting Irish will tear your heart out, but it's fun to have something outside yourself to root for together. Soup can actually be an aphrodisiac if served at the right time of night. And finally, this being-single thing isn't going to be nearly as bad as I thought it might be...
