On Me
So you're saying there's a chance...
I'm an optimist. Glass is half full.
I consider myself so fortunate to live in an amazing city (16 yrs) and call it home base when I travel for work or fun.
I grew up in the Midwest and was able to parlay ambition, drive, willingness to travel, and desire for warmth into what I do / where I typically spend my days and time today.
I enjoy what I do. It has perks.
I know that I don't look 40.
I value family and friends tremendously. I grew up with four sisters and I think they would vouch for my high pain threshold today. I love them dearly and would do anything for them and their families.
In short, you probably can't overwhelm me with much, and I have a good sense of what is time for you and independence...sisters are good for that.
I love to cook and a good meal. I thank my mom who threatened me into basic skills but more importantly instilled the appreciation.
My interests are varied (and sometimes random). Art, architecture and design are areas outside of what I do for a living that I really appreciate.
Giving back and paying forward is important.
I grew up the son of a coach / teacher. Education, athletics were a big part of forming who I am. I'm a good teammate. I lead and also follow you when your on point. To that end, you should expect me to be all in - loyalty and trust are very important to me.
What has sustained me through life is a sense of humor. Silly, intellectual or otherwise. I won't laugh at you (ok, maybe sometimes), but absolutely with you - and hopefully often.
I have a memory like a trap. Great for song lyrics.

You're probably pretty cute. You're probably a little complicated but deep (in a good way). You are independent and strong but want to be in a partnership because you know it can be potentially so much better than just good or great.

You love kids (at least the cool ones). I'm very partial to a certain 2nd grader that sometimes lives with me who is awfully cute.
You love and seek out new experiences and want a partner in your adventures - be they an afternoon or a surprise trip out of town...just because.
You make me look a second (ok third time) at your Profile and wonder. Hint: it was probably funny.
You'd make me a better person because you really are that good. You get it (and can fill me in where needed).
Oh, and the large dog sitting next to me wants to make sure you're a dog person.
