I’m spirited, smart, kind, vibrant, gracious, generous, creative, confident, not afraid to take chances and up for fun. I love the city and the country. I’m always up for an adventure – exploring a new neighborhood, taking a long walk, changing the scenery or climate for a few days. My interests include photography, music, film, dance, fashion, design, and travel. I generally prefer hopping on a plane or into a car, and just going... but also enjoy lying about on a weekend afternoon, reading the paper, napping in the sun. I’m a foodie. Love finding new restaurants, cooking and dinners with friends. Love exploring cultures and travel through food and wine, art and the outdoors. Exercise is important to me, and I like being active. I appreciate a healthy dose of mischief or irreverent humor, the energy of NYC, discovering “whatever it is” that is interesting about so many other places, an unexpected find, being shown your favorite places, a good thunderstorm or snowstorm, the top of a mountain, being tossed in a wave, twilight, peonies, a great shop or bookstore, a handwritten note or postcard, seeing other people’s play lists…
Looking for someone who is bright, intelligent, confident, broad minded, kind, secure, gracious, generous, doesn’t take themself too seriously and is generally not a basket case. A sense of humor is essential, as is some perspective and the ability to laugh. You enjoy life and are someone who is more likely to embrace things than retreat.
Looking for good conversation: infusions of insight, wit, intelligence or humor... someone not afraid to throw ideas out there. Am not into drama, heavy sarcasm, obsessive/compulsive behavior, or playing games—so if that’s in your repertoire, move right along. I have an open heart, am able to love greatly, and go the extra mile for my friends. I’m loyal, honest, have integrity, and have a pretty good sense of myself – and looking for the same. I’m independent spirited, but love having someone to share things with. My friends and family are very important to me—hopefully yours are too. I have a wonderful little dog with a big personality, who thinks she’s a big dog.
I’m interested in talking/meeting/dating and/or making a few new friends. If it feels right, I am ready for that special someone to share life with, and am essentially interested in someone who wants this as well. This seems like a good place to start.
