I moved to the Northern Virginia area 5 years ago from a little town an hour south of Buffalo, NY. I have an amazing family and still remain very close to them. My parents are still together and will celebrate 40years next summer. Most weekends and summer break I'd with my cousins. Family is extremely important to me. I have one older brother who lives in California with my sister-in-law, niece and nephew. We keep in constant touch through FaceTime, texting, email and see each other a few times a year. We still carry on family polish traditions passed down from my grandparents.
I graduated from SUNY Freodnia with my bachelors degree in Music Business. My concentration instrument was the String Bass.. I happened to stumble into dog grooming when I graduated. I picked it up quickly and fell in love with working with dogs. I volunteered at a Canine Rescue back home from 10th grade until I moved to NOVA. I have two dogs, they are my kids. Bella is a border collie/husky mix and just turned 7. Link is a cavalier king charles, a year old. I take them everywhere. We do a lot of hiking and car trips. You have to love my dogs in order to be with me.
I'm a pretty outgoing person. I may never skydive but one of my ultimate dreams is to scuba dive in the ocean and feed sharks with my bare hands. I find them fascinating. I've been to Ireland recently and this January I'm traveling to Cozumel, Belize, Costa Maya.
I'm still a big kid at heart. Yes I play video games occasionally, color in coloring books, and watch cartoons (family guy, adventure time, american dad, fosters home for imaginary kids, etc.) I also love baking and cooking! I'm always having friends over so I can cook a big dinner. The holidays are my favorite time of year to cook. Meals in the crockpot and anything you could ever dream of made out of pumpkin,
I have a fascination with the 1940's. I love everything from the music, the fashion, and WWII. I watch a lot of history documentaries on the World Wars. I'm definitely a nerd when it comes to history.
I do have tattoos but they don't affect me as a person. I just love the art.
I kick back with friends to watch game of thrones, true blood, walking dead, American horror story. Or we plan white water rafting trips, corn mazes and whatever else we can get into!
