I am 34 years old and I am an elementary school teacher. I just moved to Colorado this past July from upstate New York. It has been a dream of mine to move back to Colorado and I felt like it was a good time for a change. My sister lives here and my mom and our two beagles plan to move back in the next few years.
Living in New York, I really enjoyed annual events with my friends such as going on the Cayuga Lake Wine Tour, wiffle ball games in the summer, TAP New York (beer festival) in the spring, and many other outings. I have many wonderful experiences and memories in New York and I look forward to meeting new people and having new adventures here in Colorado.
As for more specifics about me, I am very outgoing. I am comfortable meeting new people and making friends on my own. I am the kind of girl who can be affectionate with her date but doesn't need to hang by his side every second. I have strong family values and I am close to my extended family on both sides. I am secure in who I am and know what I want. I have a very happy life, I am just missing that someone to share it with.
For fun, I enjoy live music and going out to a local pub on a Saturday night. I am not into the club scene anymore but I am open minded to try new things. I am extremely close to my family and friends and enjoy spending time with them. I love to travel somewhere warm and tropical or to a lake house as often as possible. I enjoy water skiing, snorkeling, tubing, swimming, boating, skiing, and other sports. I am an independent, driven person and know what I am looking for. My ideal match is someone whom I have an attraction to, has a good sense of humor, is honest, a gentleman, and whom I can have good conversation with. I tend to like a "guy's guy", someone who is active, outgoing, enjoys sports, and a night out with the boys but can also be happy at home with his lady.
