I am a very "Happy Go Lucky" type of woman who likes to surround myself with happy and positive people. I am a proud Mom of a 25 yr old Son and a lovely Daughter in Law and also Mom to a Beautiful 27 yr old Daughter.
I have never really posted on any kind of a site, but I really need to broaden my horizons so I told myself I would check things out on here for 24 - 48 hrs. to see if I want to subscribe. I'm reading a lot of great profiles so I'm leaning towards giving it a go!
I am a simple, country girl. I have lived in some large cities and grew up in Houston,Tx. However, I realized that no matter where I lived my hearts desire was to be back where I am from, smack in the middle of the country! I guess I should probably say that I am first and foremost looking for friendship that could possibly lead to relationship. I have lived a very blessed life and have found a few times over that money cannot buy happiness, and it sure cannot buy love!
I come from a large family and they are everything to me as we are all very close. I can say I would love to find that special someone that doesn't take life too seriously, and has a GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR!
Beauty is only skin deep...but ugly cuts clean to the bone. My mom always told that to us girls growing up and it is so true that one can be "beautiful " to look at but the heart and spirit can be very ugly and eventually looks fade for all of us, leaving behind the raw truth of that individual.
Oh! The eyes....they really are the window to the soul.
I'm not going to write a lot as I want to save some of the mystery for a later conversation. There isn't much I don't like to do. As long as its outside and sunny, "I'm game" however I do like those days at home too that are made for watching movies, eating pizza and snuggling up on the sofa.
Real love is no easy feat. It takes kindness, respect, forgiveness and understanding. So many want the "love" but few are willing to put in the work and stay for the long haul.
My parents have been married for 45 years ( To Each Other! Wink- wink) There is no doubt that's the kind of "long haul" I really desire.
