I'm not sure how one gets to know much about another person through these little blurbs! In person, though, I can usually tell right away whether I'm going to like someone. Well, here we go with some things about me, in no particular order.
I am a straightforward, down-to-earth, "what you see is what you get" type of person. I am responsible and practical but love to laugh at the absurdity of everyday life. My sense of humor is generally sarcastic and often self-deprecating (and sometimes just silly), which can be misinterpreted. Really, though, I just try not to take life too seriously. I enjoy surprises and love to see/explore new places, whether here in L.A. or on the other side of the world. I am good with money, though completely uninterested in the accumulation of wealth or "stuff." Simplicity is most appealing to me, both in lifestyle and in relationships. Some of my favorite people on the planet are actually animals, and I am especially partial to cats. I am not an exercise nut by any stretch, but I do like to keep in shape: I am pretty much always ready to run a half-marathon and ran my first marathon last year. As far as relationships go, I am definitely looking for a true partner in crime. Someone to laugh hard with at stupid jokes. Someone who is willing to entertain crazy ideas, like my dreams of bicycling across the country and living in a tiny house off the grid. Intelligent, informed conversation is a must, as is a willingness to debate and disagree respectfully. Is it possible to find that here?? I have no idea. My usual ways haven't yielded much so far, though, so who knows?
