I’ve lived in Rhode Island a year now, but still consider myself new the state. A job transfer brought me to the area. I moved here from the Chicago suburbs and am originally from Madison, Wisconsin.
My interests run the gamut…sports, fitness, reading, discovering new places, etc. I think of myself as foodie in training because I love to eat and try new restaurants. I recently got hooked on spin classes. I like biking and running. I'll try any activity or food once.
My family are some of my favorite people. I love nothing more than friends and family coming to visit.
Exploring the area has been a blast, even though the roads here are a little crazy… While I’m partial to the Chicago skyline, it is beautiful out here. Fresh seafood and the water (beaches, waves, and lighthouses) are my favorite things about Rhode Island, so far. It is definitely more fun to check out the sites with someone.
