Full disclosure - I currently live overseas. I'm sure most of you will have already stopped reading by this point. I signed up for Match while I was home in Tampa for the holidays and forgot to cancel my subscription before it automatically renewed.
For those of you still reading, I'm a down-to-earth, adventurous, and caring girl from Michigan. While I love my midwestern roots, I'm thankful for the opportunities I've had to explore other parts of the country and world. I love experiencing new places and encountering different cultures, and I'm continually amazed by everything our world has to offer. My passion for travel led me to pursue jobs overseas, and as an education major, I stumbled upon the world of international school teaching. I spent 6 years teaching in the Middle East, and now I teach at an international school in Indonesia. I love what I do and find myself challenged in new ways each day.
Yes, I live on the other side of the world. However, the beauty of teaching is the long holidays, and I always return to the Tampa area for summer and Christmas to spend time with my family. Who knows...maybe I'm actually worth getting to know? If nothing else, it would be fun to have some friends to hang out with in Tampa, since I'm relatively new to the area and don't know anyone other than my sister and her family.
