I am nature loving, playful, silly, funny, an open book, unfailingly honest, loyal, smart, dedicated, caring, generous, and persistent. I am also HSV2 . I took myself to Hawai'i two summers ago, a week by myself on the beaches was just what I needed. It was my first solo travel. By about day 3 I wanted company, and had a great time anyway! I loved all the amazing local food, being a locavore would be so easy there I'm a great girlfriend because: I'll always think of you when i'm grocery shopping and get you a treat I'll tell you what's really going on with me, always I'll give you your independence I'll want to be with you anyway I'll hear you out, fight back, and make up I'm easy to please, and easily amused I want to be outside, everyday I'll let you be right I'll be wrong sometimes I'll apologize when appropriate I'll stand my ground I'll cook you your favorite foods I won't lie, unless its a surprise I believe in treating people really well. Mutual respect and admiration is imperative. I spend my time working, playing with friends, loving my family, my cat. Spending time on the family "farm", learning more about things that make me happy. I'm learning social tango, which i'm actually terrible at, but I include it here because i'm really good at making a fool of myself and not caring! I also have a love of volunteering, Whether it be making meals at Farestart or cleaning beaches in La Push for Earth Day. I’m really good at cooking, baking, and feeding people really good food. Getting along with anyone. Seeing pretty much anyone's point of view. Making things grow. Getting kids to listen, and babies to stop crying. Organizing, creating, and playing. My brain candy preferences include True Blood, Dexter, Dr Who (nerd alert!), Nurse Jackie, Glee and anything else with characters I'd want to have as friends, or enemies. Movies: Stranger Than Fiction, Truly, Madly, Deeply, Snow Cake, Whip It, Once, and anything John Hughes ever put his hands on. Music: Peter Gabriel, Freelance Whales, Tori Amos, Alexi Murdoch, Star Anna, Nick Drake, James Blake, DMB, David Gray, Helio Sequence, Head and the Heart, Lumineers, Kitten, M83, and anything else that gives me happy ears. Favorite restaurants (besides my own kitchen) Mediterranean Kitchen, Smith, Pike Street Fish Fry, Thai food (pretty much anywhere), The Crab Pot; and I just had brunch at Salty's for the first time. That was ridiculously decadent and fun. Books: I'm never without one. Often just some novel picked from the library shelf, or things recommended. I just finished Sherman Alexie's newest, Blasphemy. Read The Adventures of Captain Bonneville, which cured me of my desire to be born 150 years ago. I am still thinking through The Windup Bird Chronicle, and probably will be for another few years.
