I'm shamelessly random, an ardent lover of color and language, and am able to see the humor in my shortcomings (yes, my height is one of them). My son infuses my days with joy (and horror – but he is a toddler, so this goes without saying), my parents remind me to keep focused and forward-thinking, my friends give me outlets for both rage and riotous relief, and my career feeds my passion for creativity and problem-solving. My tendency to trip over anything in sight, including evident obstacles and perfectly flat surfaces, has not dissuaded me from taking up running as a lovehate hobby. So, maybe a little stubborn... definitely a lot motivated.
My son, job, grad school and volunteer work keep my days and a fair deal of nights hoppin'. Down time is an enemy... I'd rather be enjoying the company of friends and family or putting my mind to some gainful pursuit than sitting still. I'm in love with sunshine, smiles on the faces of those I hold dear, Coke Zero and double-espresso beverages, sky-high heels and going the extra mile for people and things I believe in.
I'd like to meet someone equally passionate about their life, world, profession and future... who also doesn't mind being taken care of occasionally. Someone who enjoys filtering free time into adventures and discoveries... has a soft spot for youngsters and animals, feels ok standing out of the crowd, sees value in hard work and affection, and most importantly... likes singing in the car. For serious. Epic karaoke booth on wheels. It's a shame to waste it.
Oh, and if you don't dig the movie Major League, this probably isn't going to work out. :) (Seriously, where was the "Sports" movie category on this deal? The Replacements? Any Given Sunday? Rudy? Field of Dreams? Winning, all around.)
