I'm a graphic designer living and working here in Grand Rapids. I love the city and West Michigan in general so I'm really happy to have wound up in this area. My family is small, but we're very close. My two sisters (one of which is my fraternal twin) are two of my best friends in this world.
I laugh easily and often. Though I have a sarcastic edge, I don't have a short temper and I despise all things dramatic. I kill my own spiders and have more running shoes in my closet than fashionable ones. I'm always in the middle of some book or another and love listening to TED talks and This American Life while I do my design work. As soon as I'm out of work, I'm usually running, working out or riding my bike to get outdoors and move. I strive for a healthy lifestyle in all aspects in life, though funnily enough I'm not big on sports (though I just did join a flag football league. Lots of fun!). Overall, I love adventure, learning, new experiences, people and food.
I'm hoping to find someone similar to me in terms of being open-minded, adventurous, and a lifelong learner. An active lifestyle is a must, and bonus points if you like hiking or hunting. If you like being outdoors, having great conversations, trying new things and laughing I think we would definitely get along.
