I am a fun, positive, creative and caring person. I work really hard but only to be able to play even harder!! I think that's a pretty great life motto! I love playing/ watching sports. If I had to pick a sporting event to go to it would definitely be the Nuggets or the Avalanche. Although, even though I am a Colorado native I've never been to a Broncos game, so who knows maybe I'd like that too. I love playing volleyball. Actually, what I really love is competition and being pushed to become better at whatever I'm doing. Snowboarding is a big winter activity for me and I'm always looking for new friends to go with me. So that's enough about the sports rant! I do also enjoy doing very girly things too like getting dressed up and going out downtown or to a fancy meal. I also very much enjoy a mani/pedi day with my girls. It's all about the balance.
I am always looking for new adventures. In most cases my adventures end up being completely spontaneous but usually those are the best kind of adventures. I'm not a big planner and maybe that's a fault but so far the not planning thing has worked out pretty well for me. My last trip was to NYC to visit a really good friend. It was a really great time but I'm not a city girl at least not to that extreme. There are so many people there (obviously)!! Don't get me wrong I like people but not that many people ALL of the time. There are other things that I like too like trees, grass, mountains and those are really hard to find in NYC.
Laughter and having fun are very important to me. It's because I've been blessed with an amazing family and I grew up in a home where there was always laughter and a lot of sarcasm. I know that if it weren't for my parents and their super awesome parenting skills I would not have become the person I am today. So I'm pretty thankful to them. I'm the oldest of 5. I know that's a significant number of kids. It worked out great for us growing up because there was always someone around to hang out with. This is a necessity when growing up in the country. Yes I'm a little bit country.
What I'm looking for in someone else... a gentleman. That pretty much sums it up! Someone who is nice, has a good heart and is honest and likes to have fun. A guy who loves Jesus and is tall would be added bonuses as well. If you like to go to the mountains, hike, snowboard, watch movies at home, play sports, go out to dinner, sushi, mexican food, or new adventures, etc. then lets chat.
