Here I am in a nutshell...
I'm originally from West Virginia, but moved here less than 3 years ago. I believe in Southern hospitality.
I am a K-2 reading teacher. I take my job seriously, as I believe the best life opportunities come out of those with a good education.
I also have a degree in broadcast journalism. You should know the difference between there/their/they're and your/you're.
I also teach Zumba. I'm actually relatively introverted (at first), but Zumba is the time for myself where I can let my troubles and inhabitions go.
I ran my first half marathon in November and am looking forward to doing many more! I have signed up for the Flying Pig!
I love to bake, but I'm not an excellent cook. Chocolate chip cookie dough is a weakness!
I used to spend a lot of time volunteering and have unfortunately gotten away from it. I would like to find someone who shares this interest too.
I am loyal to a fault. I have two best friends and many, many acquaintances.
I hate cold weather. 65 degrees and sunny is ideal.
I LOVE Disney and all things Mickey Mouse.
I'm definitely a daddy's girl. I'm an only child, and no matter how old I get, I will always be his little girl.
I love trying new food and new restaurants.
I can quote Christmas Vacation backwards and forwards.
I'm extremely organized and an "early to bed, early to rise" type.
My health is important, as it is one of the few things I know I can control.
My worst fear is to be a bad mom.
My ideal guy is dedicated, good looking, has strong work ethic, protective (but not overbearing), confident (but not conceited), has a good job and high morals, and he must like Disney.
Just sayin'... To save you the trouble... If you voted for Obama in 2012, we probably aren't meant for each other. I'm fiscally conservative, I refuse handouts, and believe in 2nd amendment rights. :)
