I'm on Match because I am interested in meeting "the one" sooner rather than later and this seemed like a totally great way to meet someone new...my last relationship ended over a year ago and I have taken the past year to focus on myself, my family, and my friends instead of a relationship...I'm NOT desperate, just excited to meet someone to share my life with again.
My actions/activities over the past couple of weeks probably speak louder than "words" for purposes of summarizing...i think they would be fun to share with someone:
1. Taught a 4th grade creative writing class
2. Surfed several times& Golfed a few times
3. Out: Katsuya, BruHaus, Sushi King, W-hotel Hollywood, Gelina, Bodega, the Other Room, Misfits
4. In: Thai food; Abbotts Salad Pizza; grilled cheese; tuna melt; Band of Brothers; A Walk in the Woods; Mad Men
5. Finalized trip to NYC
I've traveled extensively, including the Far East, Europe, Mexico, and the Virgin Isles...Europe and South America later this year...I have lived in LA, Chicago, and NYC during my adult life...great access to theater, sports, restaurants, and social events...i like having access to new people, places, and things.
I focus my charitable work on programs tied to the education of our children...educated societies lead to more tolerant, open-minded, compassionate, productive and peaceful societies...i also believe the world would be a better place if women ran more companies and governments...just being honest!
I have a loving family, lots of acquaintances (i don't throw "friend" around lightly), and a group of amazing friends...I am not someone who has 1,000 friends b/c at this point in my life I am more motivated by quality rather than quantity...I find I am better when focused deeply on relationships rather than broadly.
I am captivated by a woman who carries herself with quiet confidence, grace, and style...not saying that an outgoing personality is unattractive at all...just haven't been attracted to women who always need to be the center of attention or controlling the energy of a room "outwardly."
Secret fantasy (G-rated): we are attending a social event, you glance at me across the room "telling" me it is time to leave, you grab the car keys from the parking valet, toss your Blahniks into the back seat, hike your dress up to mid-thigh, and drive the car on the way home like you are Danica Patric or Lara Croft (Tombraider)...Girl Power!
