Born and raised in Seattle, and like any good Seattleite, I love the outdoors, sports, crazy adventures and laughing with those I love. I am down to earth, goofy, caring and (unfortunately) very gullible.
I taught high school Spanish for 7 years and now am enjoying being dean and athletic director in a Seattle high school. While I love my job working in education, I am most in my element in the summers. Every summer I venture out of the states and fortunately only have had one near death experience. Although my Laotian guides saved me from a raging white water rafting adventure that went a little more than awry, and I was quite shaken up, it was nothing that a little beer and bocce couldn’t fix. My friend and I may have had broken teeth and missing fingernails, but we still managed to continue on with a two day jungle trek and kayak adventure.
Facetime/Skype are the greatest because I get to make faces with my niece from across the country. She is the cutest and silliest thing ever and I can’t get enough of her. (It’s a bonus that she lives in New Orleans…so fun to visit!)
I am looking for someone who is game for a little adventure, but also enjoys staying in to cook dinner and watch an exciting basketball game.
