Hey! This is a little strange to write, but my friends would probably (hopefully!) describe me as a friendly, fun-loving person who likes to spend time with friends and family. I like going out with friends, trying new restaurants and bars in the city, and traveling (pretty typical stuff, I know)! I would love to travel more if possible! I got the travel bug after studying abroad in London in college.
I'm originally from Connecticut, went to college in Boston, and came to New York for grad school and have been here ever since. I love living in New York, there are always so many new things to do and try! I'm really close with my parents and my brother and sister, and it's nice being able to get out of the city to see them sometimes too. I also have a big, crazy, Irish extended family, which can be a lot of fun!
I am looking for someone who is caring, outgoing, down to earth, and loves to laugh. I am an elementary school teacher, one of the best things about it is how much the kids crack me up (both intentionally and unintentionally! It can be so hard to keep a straight face sometimes). I absolutely love what I do, and ideally I would like to be with someone who is also passionate about their job- but passionate about things outside of work is good too!! I'm a little skeptical about the online dating thing, but it can be hard to meet new people sometimes (and being a teacher I'm around females most of the time!), so I figured I'd give it a try!
