I am recently divorced, after having been married for almost 10 years. I am unsure about "e-dating" but having just turned 40 and single all at once, I'm open-minded and looking to re-invent myself, in a way.
Now, for the interesting stuff...
I am a Jersey girl, through and through. My parents gave me the best childhood possible, eve though I was the "difficult" one. I am Catholic but I don't practice my religion regularly, although I do have strong beliefs and I would consider myself somewhat spiritual. My mother was a typical Italian mom and I pride myself on the things she taught me, including her recipes! I enjoy cooking and wine but I want to learn more about both. I love to travel and want to do much more of that too. I love going to the city for a show and dinner as much as I love going to the carnival or just hanging out at home with a scary movie and maybe a cocktail. I am family oriented and I have the same best friends now that I had as a kid. I don't know what else to say about me here except, here are some of my favorite things: 80s music, coffee ice cream, gummy bears, slasher movies, planning a vacation, traveling, and thunderstorms.
Now, about the person I would like to meet: ideally, he is not younger than me; he is educated; a successful professional who loves (really likes?) his work; he might be a dad but regardless, he enjoys children; he is responsible; he is a planner but can also be spontaneous in a fun, childlike way; he is gregarious; he is caring, compassionate, down to earth, funny, and willing to be adventurous when appropriate; he loves his family (but doesn't live with his mother); bonus: he is ItalianCatholic, although this is nowhere near a requirement or deal breaker for me.
