Creative, unusual, equal parts playful and intense. Relaxed and confident in relationships and value space and communication. Currently working on a degree in French. Music and language are deeply enmeshed in my life. Love to travel, prefer the autumn and winter months, coastal areas, mountains and desert landscapes. Have a background in film, fine art and photography. Sometimes I like to do printmaking, painting and design work but finding the time can be difficult. Occasionally dj and perform. Enjoy being around people with deep and satisfying life experiences and a certain comfort with the ups and downs of life. Will often pursue experience, knowledge and the unknown just for the sake of it or a curious nature. This is how I learned French. It's an achingly beautiful story that I'd love to share. Hopefully this experience spills into other areas of my life.
Feel extremely fortunate to have friendships of 20-30 years and many long distance friendships, sparked by a love of speaking French. I make an effort to save the best of myself for friends and family. Interested in doing more volunteer work and working on the craft of writing creatively and for advocacy.
Comfortable with myself, in a crowd or traveling alone. Thrive in a collaborative relationship, love to share, playful, affectionate and communicative. Enthusiasm is contagious for me and I'm happy to participate in something my partner enjoys that I ordinarily wouldn't do on my own. Value space and freedom for my partner to do their own thing if it's their desire. Easy going and open to a relationship with someone who has little time or lots of time to spend together. Willing to relocate for the right person.
