A Texas transplant here! Roughly ten years ago I moved to DC to attend college. While I love it here I would be up for a move should the right opportunity present itself.
One of my favorite hobbies is cooking/baking. While it would be great for my partner to share this interest a willing taste tester for recipes would be equally as great! My tres leches cake tops the charts in terms of compliments – yum.
One of the greatest gifts my parents have given me is an appreciation of travel. To date, I have traveled through almost all of Europe (my favorite place being St Petersburg Russia) with the biggest holes being Paris (heartbreaking!), Greece, Spain, Portugal, and Ireland. A sense of adventure is a must!
Family is very important to me and they are an integral part of my life. I would hope that my partner would also highly value family as well.
As cliche as it sounds, I am hoping to find that initial spark of chemistry with a gentleman, followed by the development of a close, deep relationship based on friendship and trust. Learning from past relationships and people I deeply respect I think it is necessary to have a good balance of give and take. I want to take care of someone as well as have that special someone take care of me in return. The ideal guy for me would be well educated, kind, quick with a smile, intelligent, and an animal lover – an old soul with an appreciation of history, tradition, and family.
