In first impressions I seem a little shy, until you get to know me. I'm open and outgoing, light hearted but I can be serious too, affectionate, confident, I know what I want, and I love people who can make me laugh. My humor tends to be on the dry side and slightly sarcastic, or just random and silly. I have some traditional values, but at the same time I am liberal in many of my thoughts and opinions. I love my job and the people I work with, and I'm working on going back for my MA. I like learning new things, meeting new people and trying new experiences.
I enjoy dinner, movies, parties / bbq's with friends, dancing, going on walks/hikes, camping, etc. I'm a big reader, mostly literature and historical fiction. On TV I like Dexter, Law Order SVU, and I just started Duck Dynasty (my guilty pleasure). I love to travel - although lately I haven't had as much opportunity to do it. I've been to Australia and Mexico, and I have a bucket list of other places I would love to visit: Japan, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Egypt... the list goes on .
I have a group of friends that I'm close with and my family is very important to me. I love my life and it would be nice to find someone special to share it with me.
