HI! My name is Jonathan, but you can call me Jon. This is my first serious attempt at online dating, and I've decided to give it a whirl. I feel a little cynical in doing this online match making but having read several other profiles, I see there are actual human beings with great personalities on this site. I'm keeping an open mind.
Little about me -
I am an LA native!! but I've traveled far and wide, and have lived in NJ, NV, AZ.
I am a loving, friendly, generous, reasonable and kind person, and been through enough heavy stuff in my life which has shaped me into a much wiser and compassionate human being. I am health conscious (mind body spirit) eat healthy, cuss at God and exercise, so I have my flaws. =) I am the first to admit to a mistake, providing I recognize that I have made one. lol =D. I am light hearted, laugh easily and I can laugh at and poke fun at myself. I am not self centered or materialistic.
I love to exercise, and I have discovered yoga, taking it now for several months and love it, and intend to continue.
I like to travel when I can, tropical rain forest and desert landscapes, diametrically opposed but both spectacular and mesmerizing. I love becoming one with the waves (body surfing) and seeing the dolphins at the beach. I love the rain and a purple magenta sunset with scattered clouds. Anyone interested in taking a trip to Costa Rica with me. =) That is my next destination.
Educated in illustration/graphic design I'm a very good artist/illustrator. I'm presently employed but not in the field I was educated within, hah! I feel I'm in a transition, not sure where I am going, just yet.
I love all types of animals, love nature in general, in fact, I care deeply about the natural world and it's inhabitants, and I love human beings as much as animals.
Being a spiritual person, NOT religious. I know God is real, omniscient and all loving, and there are no such things as coincidence, it is synchronicity. I believe that the universe itself is conscious, interconnected, we are surrounded by living conscious energy. I would hope to find someone who has a similar perspective, at LEAST an open mind.
I am looking for someone like minded and a good communicator, someone active not sedentary. Someone compassionate, affectionate, responsible honest and conscientious, someone who is trying to be healthy in her own right and wanting a better world for all. Someone not glued to their freakin Iphone. =) Someone who CAN laugh at herself!
