I'm originally from the Midwest and moved to Los Angeles in 2005 to chase the dream and pursue a career in what every 20 something moves to Los Angeles for - organic chemistry. Moving across the country was the one of the smartest things I've ever done. You learn a lot about yourself being 2500 miles from home. I'm happy to be back in the Midwest, though!
Some facts:
I call it pop, because that's what it is. It isn't any of those other words that people sometimes call it.
I like thunderstorms. The louder the better.
I somehow started liking running after 22 years of hating it. Don't ask me why, but running for 3 to 4 hours straight can actually be kind of fun. Right now I'm running 4 or 5 times a week. I'm glad I'm back in a "liking" phase with running.
I like PBR in a non-ironic way. I'm not a hipster; I just like the way it tastes.
Minneapolis seems pretty cool but I'd be lying if I said I'd rather be here than in Ann Arbor.
My dog is pretty much the most important thing in my life. She's about 75 lbs and a little over a year old. She's awesome.
I like sports. Notably, college football, baseball, and hockey. What can I say? I'm a guy that grew up in the midwest.
