I believe it’s important to “do the right thing.” This is true for little things in life like sending a card to a friend who is feeling down, taking an extra minute to recycle a milk carton, and not canceling something I have committed to just because something better comes up. It is also true for bigger things like being honest, having empathy for other people, and working hard. Am I perfect? -Bleep- no! But I try my best. :)
I would love to learn how to kite surf...or just regular surf...or just how to fly a kite (ok, not the last part!)

I know how to use their/there/they’re and to/too/two correctly. I took the accelerated calculus class in high school and got an A. I know enough to know how much there is that I don't know... A LOT!
I love working with children. I believe that being a teacher is really important and I dedicate a lot of time and effort to my job. I'm sad that public education is under attack right now and sometimes it's hard to ignore the political discourse slamming teachers.
I've had tons of people comment on my extremely even and neat handwriting. In college, I once got a job interview based on my handwriting on the application (which is odd considering it wasn't a job that involved any writing!)
I am looking for a relationship that is built on friendship and trust with a shared understanding that positive, meaningful relationships involve work to stay strong. Good communication skills are essential. So is the ability to look for the fun in life and enjoy the everyday together!
