I am a fit, fun loving, friendly, positive mother who enjoys being outdoors. I stay busy with friends, hobbies, church, my kids, travel and more. I am loyal, honest and a woman of uncompromised integrity and will not settle. I value many family values I was raised with by my two parents who are married. I value the character of a person above all. I feel that character is what we all do when no one else is watching. Character is also "doing that next right thing." Looks will fade, but character is what is still sitting beside you in a rocking chair in your 80's or 90's when you have spent a lifetime together. I feel it is so important to know your beliefs, to be settled, grounded, and centered in who you are as an individual, and know who you are, and what you want, before you even consider looking for a life partner. I prefer to deal with people in an honest and direct way.
My two kids are the two greatest gifts God has ever given me. They are at ages now where we have a lot of fun together.
I stay very busy, I won't go into it all, but I am not a couch potato. I love to dine out, and dine in. Although I am not a couch potato, I have finally learned how to take a "cat nap." I am actually proud of myself, that I can slow myself down and when I need one give myself that 20 minute break and take that "cat nap." Cats have it all figured out! I am on the go most the time so it was a nice discovery!
I enjoyed running many races over the years to include the New York City Marathon and the Death Valley Marathon. I love yoga, one of my greatest passions. I enjoy a very active lifestyle, and lots of yoga.
Travel is one of my greatest passions. I have been to nearly every state in the USA, and to 12 countries. I also enjoy going to the beach, the mountains or the lake. I think picnics can be fun along the way! I feel it is important to have similar values, share some hobbies, share a love for family life, a love for God, and I hope to meet someone whose lifestyle is similar to mine. I am not looking for someone exactly like me. I am open to new, trust me!
Finally, Jesus Christ is my Lord and my Savior, and I am so grateful for that because I am not perfect, and I don't expect perfection from those around me as a result. As a result, I try to extend grace to those around me, and I operate best and flourish in relationships where grace is extended to me.
