Wow...so this really is the hard part.....
About me, I am a down to earth girl who would give up the career to have a husband and a family. Right now, I'm absolutely in career mode. I work in the criminal justice field and I love what I do for a living. I am just beginning to work on my Addictions Certification. I am also a mentor and counselor to young kids. I am the type of person that always like to give back, and I'm doing my part to make a difference in other people's lives.
Who & What I'm looking for....
My equal....Someone who is goal oriented and strives to be their best everyday. I am a very determined individual and I want someone with the same drive as me!
Intelligence is a must. I want someone who knows what is going on in the world around them. Someone who has a sense of humor, but also has a serious side to them.
Communication is key. I want a man that can talk to me about everything. I really believe that communication is key and if a guy can't express himself freely, and I can't talk to my significant other there would be serious issues. I just want someone that can be open and honest.
Intimacy is about more than sex. It's a bond that two people have with one another. I want to lay in bed with that special someone and know that sometimes that's enough. I believe when you're in a relationship you should take care of one another's needs. The moment you forget about each other the relationship will start to fall apart.
Faith is also important to me. You don't have to be super religious but I do expect you to respect my views. I am a Christian and although I'm not knocking down the church doors every Sunday, I do like to attend church. It would be nice if you'd go with me every now and then.
Trust & Honest....are pretty simple and straight forward. If you are honest with me I'll always trust you. Trust & Honesty is the foundation that a true relationship is built upon. I've been cheated on so I know how it feels to be betrayed. I know how it feels to have your heart ripped into a million pieces in less than a minute, and I never want to experience that again.
In my spare time you'll find me at home with my three golden retrievers. I love dining out, going to the movies (I'll watch just about anything unless it's super scary), bowling, putt putt, a concert on a hot summer night, or staying in cuddling on the couch with you! Oh, and every now and then it'd be nice to go out with friends and have a few drinks....have you hold me in your arms on the dance floor.
