The first things that people notice about me are my red hair and my smile. I have a great sense of humor and I am probably one of the easiest people to make laugh that you will ever meet. If you watch a comedy or comedian with me you may find yourself laughing at my uncontrollable laughter than the show itself.
I am currently a graduate student working on my Masters in Education. I also work full time at a local school. I am passionate about working with children and young adults with developmental disabilities learn to read and advocate for themselves. Far too often they are looked at as people who will never make a contribution to society and my goal is to help change that perception.
Outside of work and school I love to spend time with friends and family. I enjoy finding new and interesting things to do in and around Rochester.
I enjoy going out on the weekends but I am also content with staying in and watching a movie. I love learning about different cultures, in particular cultural dance such as salsa, merengue, bachata, and belly dance. I am a total musical theater geek. You won't find me on stage but you will find me in the audience. My all time favorite musicals are Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera.
I'm working on becoming a better cook. It's all an adventure in trial and error, and frankly I find it less than motivating to cook for just myself.
