I'm originally from NE, but I spent the last five years in KS and CA. I've moved around a lot for school and work, and I was recently able to get settled in Omaha with a job I enjoy. I recently turned the big 3-0, and while I've valued my single years (which I believe have helped me to know myself and my preferences pretty well), perennially playing the third, fifth, ninth, etc. wheel is getting a little predictable. I'm ready to bump into someone who's on the same page, and eventually get settled down.
In terms of my interests, I'm not the hobby-queen (e.g., I won't lie and say that I regularly go rock climbing, take cooking classes, or have anything to do with woodwork), but I do prioritize exercising (I love running in particular). Regarding what I'm looking for in a potential date, I wouldn't say I have a "type". Aside from kindness (which goes without saying), I'm the most drawn to a great sense of humor. I've always been sarcastic: I can dish it out, and I can also take it. I think intelligence and humor go hand-in-hand, and I think being able to hold your own in a game of witty banter can make anyone sexy.
