I'm an independent woman who loves a challenge – I can make a competition out of anything :) I’m thankful for my education and proud of my professional accomplishments. Not much phases me...I typically have a plan B, C, and D in my back pocket, spontaneity is alive and well. My style is minimalist – I love midcentury/danish design and appreciate fine art and sculpture. I also love to travel, would much rather spend thousands of dollars on memories (i.e. vacations, live events) than on a new car.
I'm passionate about many things, but most of all I'm passionate about maintaining a healthy, balanced lifestyle. I love my work, but I also love to entertain and volunteer. Personal growth is an ongoing project - I'm usually taking one class or another at any given time. I grew up on the east coast of Canada (I have a bit of an accent often mistaken for Irish) where most of my family still resides. I try to get home at least once a year, wish I could do it more often....I crave the ocean.
If I had to choose one characteristic in a partner it would be trustworthy. If honesty and trust are constant most other obstacles can be overcome. I'm most drawn to those who possess candor and confidence; those big personalities who always seem to be center stage in a room. Wit and humor rank high. My ideal mate has it together, is someone who has an adventurous spirit, loves the outdoors and traveling, and is health conscious.
