I am newer to the Durango area, having finally laid down roots after a decade of working in the outdoor guiding-education realm. I find that, for me, joy and a sense of home come most readily from time spent outside. I am an avid mountain biker, backcountry & Nordic skier, climber, runner, and occasional tube-to-dinner river rat. I have a strong sense of integrity and knowledge of my values, which seem to be grounded in celebration, appreciation, equity, and connectivity. I balance my deeper side with my super zaney, creative and spontaneous personality that loves nothing more than the nighttime bike ride downtown in search of apricot trees ripe for the picking or random games of badminton mid-commute. I love the company of friends, cooking and sharing meals, downtime spent sharing about a day and generally caring for people.
I am looking for someone who shares the perspective that every aspect of life is an intriguing adventure. I would love to find a partner who is excited to map out a creative, vibrant life together and who believes that common vision, communication, respect, and humor are important. I also desire a partner who can challenge me and push me-himself-us to grow. Ideally, I would love to find someone who values the natural world and who is interested in travelling to the wild places of this world—locally and abroad. Lastly, we’ve got to have fun, ‘cause shoot dang, this life is too short.
