I work in a creative industry, but I don't think that I have gone to the darks side of the hipsters, yet. Whether I am meeting someone new or hanging out with my close friends or family, I love being around people. I live for the outdoors. I've hiked the Overland Treck in Tasmania. Kilimanjaro is next. I love to paddle and have spent time as a kayaking instructor and tour guide. This winter I have been determined to make snowshoeing my new hobby. That being said I also like getting dressed up and going out in Boston. I love traveling. I love cooking. I love music, and I've recently realized I go to way to many concerts. I am lucky to have a job that I love. I live for my family and friends, and that is a quality I look for in the people I spend time with. I also think volunteering and giving back to the community is important so I volunteer for a group that brings music and movies to hospitalized children. I like to think I have a good sense of humor, but the reality is I tend to think just about everything is funny. I am convinced my friends keep me around because I laugh at all jokes, even if they are bad. If you quote Arrested Development, Zoolander, Nothing To Lose or Rush Hour 2 I will laugh. I am quickly realizing that this emailing thing isn't really my cup of tea, but I am open to meeting up for a coffee or a beer. I would much rather get to know someone by meeting them in person!
