hmmm....about me....and who i'm looking for...?
well, i'm a really happy person and grateful for so much that i have in my life. i've spent years working hard and living a fun life......
those closest to me would describe me as a very giving person. i'm also humble, live simply and extremely honest and loyal. i don't believe in cheating. if i am not fully committed to someone then i will make it known, as i would expect them to do the same. i enjoy making time for the little things like texting to just say hi, i'm thinking of you. i'm really close to my family too and we get together often. family is definitely important to me.
in case you haven't noticed already, i barely ever use capital letters. i am actually pretty good at spelling and grammar though. lol
i've made a lot of changes in my life over the last 6 months and I'm looking forward to the next chapter of my life; which includes settling down and starting a family. i try to go to the gym regularly....usually at midnight when no one else is there and all of my favorite machines are available!! :-) i'm also trying to eat fairly healthy and have dropped a ton of extra weight. i feel great about myself and have much more confidence than i used to. i know i'm a great person and will make the right person so happy! i'm pretty outgoing but can be a little shy at first.
karaoke is not one of those times though. lol i enjoy singing (for fun...b/c i can really only sing a few songs). i also like to shoot pool and play on a pool team once a week with my friends. i'd like to take a cooking class sometime because i have a lot that i could learn in that department. (i guess if you're looking for a woman to have a home-cooked meal on the table at the end of the day....i am definitely not the girl for you!) lol
i have had some really cool jobs in my past. i have worked as a firefighter and for the United States Dept. of Homeland Security. i am currently attending school (medical field) and i love every minute of it......I graduate march 2014 and I can't wait!! I'm pretty excited to start down this new career path!
i have a small dog who is pretty mellow. she doesn't really bark or destroy anything in my house or go through the trash....she's a great pug; i got lucky! i also hang out with my 3 nieces as often as i can. they grow up fast and it's amazing watching them explore and learn new things. they somehow make everything lighter/less stressful! i am looking forward to starting my own family.....so i'm looking for someone that eventually wants a family of their own.
the kind of guy that i'm looking for is not someone that is just looking for a fun time. i'm looking for a best friend, a companion, a partner in crime.....someone who can cook would be nice too, because as i mentioned earlier i really am awful at that! :-) or it could be fun to learn together! i want to find the 'right guy'.... i don't want to settle. i want to find the guy out there that is meant to be totally head over heels in love with me, and only me,...... the one that loves to spend time with me and thinks about me when we're not together. someone who isn't afraid to show his emotions and talk out our arguements and who has his life together but is missing that one component that makes everything complete. i want the butterflies.....i think that's the only real way to know if there is a connection.
