I am positive, optimistic, honest, kind, and fun. Give me 30 minutes, and I am ready for something spontaneous.
I love to laugh, snuggle on the couch, go out for a night on the town: dinner, dancing, movie, listen to a band, whatever. I don't take myself too seriously, and I am a good listener. I love music and sing at my church.
I can cook (I don't understand why so many women don't cook these days!) and have already passed on the love of cooking to my teenage son, which is kind of a family tradition given my heritage. Speaking of family, we are all very close (but not in each other's business), and there is no family drama. I am the youngest of four children. My parents were married 59 years; my mother passed away in April 2012.
I go to the gym (love Zumba and Body Pump classes), and I ski in Colorado several times a year. I grew up riding horses and still ride occasionally (my sister has horses). I am adventurous. I am willing to try new things, and I am a happy, low maintenance, glass is half full kind of girl.
I love my job; I have worked for a major airline for most of my adult life (not a Flight Attendant). Some of my traveling highlights are Greece, South Africa, Italy, Cancun, Dominican Republic, and lots of trips to the mountains in Colorado. I look forward to taking more trips in my future.
I am divorced. We were married 21 years; high school sweethearts; and ended on friendly terms. I have three amazing children ages 9, 14, and 17. I don't want to have any more children myself, but I would embrace my partner's children.
